The wildflowers are out in Hutto,TX

Spring is one of the prettier seasons in central texas, clearly because of the wildflowers. The bluebonnets are the most famous once, but with the drought last year all the wildlife has been suffering a bit. This year a certain type of yellow wildflowers has taken over the fields. I dont remember them being out as much the other years, but it is really gorgeous driving along the road and seeing giant fields of yellow. So I dragged the girls out to do some pictures, and even though it has been raining on and off and been really windy we managed to get a few shots.

It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.
