{ Creativity Project } October ” The dark side “

It is the month of october and once again our amazing group of friends came together for some creativity and inspiration. The thoughts about this months theme were a little  spread apart but since fall is in full swing and Halloween close by we tried to stay close to those themes. ” The dark side” came to mind as a theme… and from there I went on. The dark side could have many meanings, I’m sure in some way we all have one, everything pretty much does.I have enjoyed the dark side very much lately. For me it meant letting go of summer and welcoming the darker, calmer days of fall and winter. During the hot and summer days I always feel like rushing things and trying to enjoy all the sunshine. Colder days mean calmer days for me. More time to play games, more time to cuddle in front of the fireplace but also more time to enjoy cold wintry walks, which I love more than anything. I feel more at home and memories of germany and childhood seem closer to me than ever.

So here I went and found the dark side….but you will see even in the darkest alley’s I managed to put some sunshine into them 😉

First fog of the season
Even in the darker and colder days we manage to find happyiness
Be still
Even in the darkest corner we can find love
She makes every place glow
Sunshine even in the darkest alleys
My sorrow, when she’s here with me, thinks these dark days of autumn rain are beautiful as days can be; she loves the bare, the withered tree; she walks the sodden pasture lane.”
Robert Frost
Old and forgotten
No matter how dark the moment, love and hope are always possible.

  1. Love, love, love! Love the fog and the “moodiness” of all these pictures, but I think the send is my fave. Loving the unexpected pop of color 🙂

  2. You hit it out of the park EACH. AND. EVERY. TIME! I absolutely love what you did with the photos. Gorgeous set. 🙂
